Evan Turner, the second overall selection in the 2010 NBA Draft.
No terms of the deal were released.
As a junior last season, Turner scored 20.4 points per game and grabbed 9.2
rebounds per game to lead the Big Ten in both categories, while finishing
second in the conference in assists, 6.0 per game, and steals. 1.7 per game.
He became the first Division One player to average at least 20 points, nine
rebounds and six assists per game since Oscar Robertson did it in consecutive
seasons in 1958-59 and 1959-60.
Turner was the Big Ten Player of the Year and went to win the two most
prestigious national player of the year awards, the Naismith Trophy and John
R. Wooden Award, as well.
